The ship air layer drag reduction system comprises an inflation system, an air output port of the inflation system communicates with a sealing air bag through an air bag inflation pipeline, and the sealing air bag is arranged in an air cavity; a bottom plate of the air cavity is a ship bottom plate, and air spraying holes are formed in the ship bottom plate. The inflation system is communicated with an air cavity area outside the sealing air bag through an air cavity air supply pipeline; a first remote control valve is arranged on the air bag inflation pipeline; a second remote control valve is arranged on the air cavity air supply pipeline; the air bag inflation pipeline further communicates with an atmosphere connecting pipeline, and a third remote control valve is arranged on the atmosphere connecting pipeline.
