The alternating current input end of a full-bridge rectifier is connected with a live wire and a zero wire of the alternating current charging pile, and the direct current output end of the full-bridge rectifier is connected with the input end of a photoelectric coupler; the first output end of the photoelectric coupler is connected with the first end of a coil of a first relay, the second end of the coil of the first relay is connected with a first voltage end, and a normally open contact of the first relay is connected to the live wire and the zero wire; the second output end of the photoelectric coupler is connected with the first end of the switch, the second end of the switch is connected with a ground wire, and a control end of the switch is connected with a controller; and the first end of the first resistor is connected with the first end of the coil of the first relay, the second end of the first resistor is connected with the controller and the first end of a second resistor, and the second end of the second resistor is connected with the ground wire. Through the simple device composition, whether a short circuit occurs in the charging process or not can be detected, and circuit protection is carried out when the short circuit occurs.
