The invention provides a vehicle charging port. Said vehicle charging port assembly includes a housing having a port configured to couple to a charging station coupler. The port includes a plurality of terminals and a rear cover attached to a rear side of the housing and defining an opening to receive the terminals. The port further comprises wires, each wire being connected to one of the terminals; and seals, each of the seals surrounding one of the wires and disposed in a corresponding one of the openings.
