The invention relates to a hoisting device and method for a glass fiber reinforced plastic bar and rebar structure. The hoisting device and method are used for hoisting a reinforcement cage formed by lapping joint of a plurality of rebars and glass fiber reinforced plastic bars. The glass fiber reinforced plastic bar and rebar structure comprises a fixing rope, a first clamping piece and a second clamping piece, wherein the fixing rope is spirally wound around the connecting parts of the rebars and the glass fiber reinforced plastic bars, and the first clamping piece and the second clamping piece are arranged at two ends of the fixing rope and connected with the fixing rope. The device is characterized by comprising a first hoisting device and a second hoisting device. The first hoisting device at least comprises a pulley assembly and a hoisting rope assembly, and the first hoisting device is configured to be connected with hoisting points of a plurality of hoisting point groups at one end in the longitudinal direction of the reinforcement cage through the pulley assembly and the hoisting rope assembly. The second hoisting device at least comprises a pulley assembly and a hoisting rope assembly, and the second hoisting device is configured to be connected with hoisting points of the remaining hoisting point groups at the other end in the longitudinal direction of the reinforcement cage through the pulley assembly and the hoisting rope assembly.
