The invention discloses an elevator capable of climbing along an electric pole, and relates to the technical field of power maintenance. The elevator comprises a base, a scissor-type lifting frame and a driving device used for driving the scissor-type lifting frame to ascend and descend are arranged on the base, a platform is arranged at the top of the scissor-type lifting frame, the elevator body synchronously ascending and descending with the scissor-type lifting frame is arranged on the rear side of the platform, and lifting rods extending forwards are hinged to the left side and the right side of the elevator body. The lifting rods are in sliding connection with the scissor-type lifting frame; a protection rod is hinged to the suspended end of each lifting rod, and torsional springs are arranged between the lifting rods and the protection rods; and a first pulley is arranged between the two protection rods. The protection rods and limiting mechanisms which are matched with the electric pole are arranged in front of the platform on the top of the elevator body, and when the platform ascends and descends, the protection rods and limiting rods in the limiting mechanisms can enable the platform and the electric pole to form a limiting connection relation, so that the platform stably moves up and down along the electric pole, and the operation safety of electricians is guaranteed; and the comfort of the electrician operation space and environment is improved.
