The invention discloses a rail truck light/radar signal system which comprises a front-end lamp set, a rear-end lamp set and advancing detection devices. The front-end lamp set is arranged at the front end of the carriage, the rear-end lamp set is arranged at the rear end of the carriage, and after the advancing direction of the carriage is changed, the light color of the front-end lamp set and the light color of the rear-end lamp set are exchanged; the advancing detection devices are arranged at the tops of the two ends of the carriage correspondingly. The advancing detection devices and a carriage engine are synchronously started and stopped; the ground personnel can quickly identify whether the carriage moves forwards or backwards through different exchange of the front and rear light groups so as to timely avoid or carry out other work, and the safety of the ground personnel and vehicles is ensured; when the carriage is in the advancing state, radar detection and image recognition are conducted on the advancing direction through a radar and a camera of the advancing detection equipment, signals are transmitted to a control center or a dispatching room through a network, remote monitoring and control can be conducted by control personnel conveniently, and driving safety is ensured.
