The invention discloses a rail transit charging system. The rail transit charging system comprises a rail transit station, a charging connection device and a power supply device matched with the charging connection device, the rail transit station comprises a ceiling located above a rail transit train, the power supply device is installed on the ceiling, and the charging connection device is installed in a top inner cavity of the rail transit train. A first long opening communicated with the inner cavity is formed in the top of the rail transit train, a protective cover is movably arranged on the first long opening to open or close the first long opening, and a visual identification system is arranged on the protective cover; the charging connection device is located below the first long opening. The power supply device is provided with an identification mark used for detection and identification of the visual identification system. The power supply device is arranged on the ceiling and is located at a high position to charge the train, so that manual track maintenance is safe and reliable.
