The invention discloses a short-stroke high-thrust jacking mechanism and an AGV with the jacking mechanism. The mechanism comprises a bottom frame and a top frame arranged above the bottom frame in parallel. Two sets of lifting supports are symmetrically arranged between the bottom frame and the top frame in the length direction. The upper ends of the two lifting supports are rotationally connected with the top frame, and the lower ends are connected to the bottom frame. The lifting support can slide in the length direction of the bottom frame. A guide structure for limiting horizontal sliding of the lower end of the lifting bracket is arranged on the bottom frame; a driving disc is rotatably mounted in the middle of the bottom frame, and a power mechanism for driving the driving disc to rotate is configured; connecting rods are symmetrically hinged to the two radial sides of the driving disc, and the far ends of the connecting rods are hinged to the lifting supports on the same side. When the driving disc rotates, the two sets of lifting supports can be driven to move synchronously through the connecting rods, and therefore the height difference between the bottom frame and the top frame is changed. In the invention, small-height and large-thrust lifting can be achieved with the small size, and the lifting mechanism has the advantages of being compact in structure, good in reliability and the like.
