The invention discloses a wrapping type pedestrian safety air bag which comprises a first buffering protection part and a second buffering protection part which are arranged on an automobile engine hood, used for protecting a collided pedestrian and electrically connected with an automobile AEB system. The time-difference pedestrian safety air bag is simple in structure, convenient to replace after being triggered and high in reliability, the air bag which is popped out of the left mudguard or the right mudguard firstly covers an engine hood and a windshield, and therefore collision damage caused by the fact that the left mudguard and the right mudguard make contact with collided pedestrians can be reduced; and secondary injury caused by collided pedestrians and the ground is avoided.
