A disclosed climbing mechanism comprises a bottom plate, two front wheel assemblies and two rear wheel assemblies, the two front wheel assemblies are symmetrically installed at the two sides of the front end of the bottom plate, and the two rear wheel assemblies are symmetrically installed on the two sides of the rear end of the bottom plate; each front wheel assembly comprises a front wheel driving motor, a front fixing frame, a front wheel rotating shaft assembly and front wheels; and each rear wheel assembly comprises a rear wheel driving motor, a rear fixing frame, a rear wheel rotating shaft assembly, a rear wheel, a steering engine, a driving gear, a driven gear, a concentric crankshaft and a small wheel. By the adoption of the mechanism designed by the invention, a heavy object does not need to be lifted when going upstairs, the climbing mechanism can automatically climb upstairs, the burden of carrying goods to high floors is relieved, and safety is improved.
