The invention relates to a shock absorber for parachute landing recovery of an unmanned aerial vehicle. The shock absorber comprises an outer cylinder assembly, a piston rod assembly and solid filler; the outer cylinder assembly comprises an outer cylinder; the left end of the piston rod assembly is inserted into an opening in the right end of the outer cylinder; the piston rod assembly can move bidirectionally along the transverse axis of the outer cylinder; the outer cylinder is filled with the solid filler; and the solid filler comprises first solid filler and second solid filler. The shock absorber for parachute landing recovery of the unmanned aerial vehicle has the characteristics of simple structure, high reliability, high absorbing energy and the like. The technical problems that the structure of an existing unmanned aerial vehicle shock absorber is prone to damage, the absorbing energy is small and the like in the recovering process of an unmanned aerial vehicle can be solved. The invention can be used for the shock absorber of the unmanned aerial vehicle.
