The invention discloses an adjustable rigid lifting device. The device comprises a sky rail, a telescopic beam, a first air cylinder, a rotating disc, a clamping device, a second air cylinder and a controller, wherein the first air cylinder and the second air cylinder are fixedly connected to the two ends of the telescopic beam respectively; the other end of the first air cylinder is connected to the rotating disc through a rotating shaft; the rotating disc is fixedly connected to the clamping device; the other end of the second air cylinder is fixed to the upper end of the controller; the telescopic beam is movably connected to the sky rail through electromagnetic induction; the telescopic beam is formed by intermittently arranging and connecting a plurality of first joints and second joints; the second joints are sleeved with the first joints; and the first joints can linearly move along the sky rail to complete stretching and retracting. The invention further discloses a working method of the adjustable rigid lifting device. According to the adjustable rigid lifting device provided by the invention, the structure is simple, linear movement of goods is achieved through stretching and retracting of the beam with the controllable distance, the beam is high in rigid strength and high in bearing capacity, and full-automatic control can be achieved.
