The invention relates to a lifting device, which is characterized by comprising a movable structure and a fixed structure, wherein the fixed structure and the movable structure are installed together through a guide rail and a nitrogen spring. A working method comprises the following steps of (1) when the lifting device is at a non-work state, taking a T-shaped pin and a tightening handle down, and downwards pressing the movable structure until a rotated plunger is inserted into the movable structure for location; (2) installing a part onto a checking fixture, if a checking item on the lifting device is required, rearwards pulling the plunger so as to be separated from the movable structure, wherein the movable structure is slowly risen up due to the action of the nitrogen spring until being in contact with the fixed structure; (3) using the T-shaped pin and the tightening handle to locate so as to measure the parts. The invention has the advantages that (1) the lifting device meeting the switching function of two parts measured by one set of checking fixture is provided, and the device is unique in structure, simple in process flow and stable in working state; (2) the device is simple and convenient to operate, and the part measuring efficiency is greatly improved.
