The invention discloses a highway interlacing area determination method, which comprises the following steps of: selecting a main bottleneck of a highway, namely an interlacing area, as a research object, and analyzing the influence of road geometric design characteristics (such as the length of the interlacing area, the number of lanes, the characteristics of lane separation angle areas and the like) on traffic flow operation and traffic safety of the interlacing area by utilizing a path analysis model; according to the method, the incidence relation among road geometric design-traffic flow-accident risk is explored, an accident risk model is established, the influence of road geometric design on the accident risk of the interlaced area is quantitatively analyzed, and a detailed and effective method is provided for road geometric design with the purpose of traffic operation safety of the expressway interlaced area.

    本发明公开了一种高速公路交织区确定方法,该方法选择高速公路主要瓶颈——交织区作为研究对象,利用路径分析模型,分析道路几何设计特征(如交织区长度、车道数、分道角区特征等)对交织区交通流运行和交通安全的影响,探究道路几何设计‑交通流‑事故风险之间的关联关系,建立事故风险模型,定量分析道路几何设计对交织区事故风险的影响,为以高速公路交织区交通运行安全为目的进行道路几何设计提供一套细致有效的方法。
