The invention belongs to the technical field of electric vehicle wireless charging, and particularly relates to an electric vehicle wireless charging magnetic coupler with a switchable relay coil, and the magnetic coupler is designed by optimizing magnetic couplers with two-coil and three-coil structures. After comparison under the offset condition of the magnetic couplers, it is found when the two-coil magnetic coupler is in a close distance lower than or equal to about 30% of the size of the coils, the offset efficiency is not lower than 90%, and when the three-coil magnetic coupler is in a long distance greater than about 30% of the size of the coils, and the offset efficiency is not lower than 90%. Therefore the electric vehicle wireless charging magnetic coupler with the switchable relay coils is provided, and the anti-offset capability of the magnetic coupler for wireless charging of the electric vehicle and the wireless charging system is improved.
