The invention relates to the field of blast furnaces for iron smelting, in particular to a blast furnace shell mounting device and a using method thereof. The blast furnace shell mounting device comprises a blast furnace bottom plate (11), and is characterized by further comprising a blast furnace shell assembling platform (1), a lifting beam (2), a lifting device (3) and a steel strand (4), wherein the blast furnace shell assembling platform (1) is arranged on the blast furnace bottom plate (11); the lifting beam (2) is arranged on a furnace top platform (13); the lifting device (3) is fixed on the lifting beam (2); and the top end of the steel strand (4) is tied on the lifting device (3). The using method of the blast furnace shell mounting device comprises the step of constructing the blast furnace bottom plate (11), and is characterized by further comprising the following steps of: (1) arranging the blast furnace shell assembling platform; (2) arranging the lifting beam and the lifting device; (3) carrying out first-time assembling; (4) carrying out first-time lifting; (5) carrying out second-time assembling; (6) carrying out assembling; (7) carrying out second-time lifting; and (8) repeating the step (4) to the step (7) till assembling of a blast furnace shell is completed. According to the blast furnace shell mounting device and the using method thereof, the quality is improved, and the construction period is shortened.
