The invention discloses a blast furnace shell middle section replacement method, and relates to the technical field of blast furnace shell replacement construction. The height and angle of a furnace shell are adjusted through an external electric chain block, the furnace shell is transported to an installation position, and the furnace shell is pulled to the installation position through an internal electric chain block to be welded. The replacement method is suitable for replacing the furnace shell at the uniform section and the variable section of a blast furnace, and is wide in applicationrange. A first electric chain block and a second electric chain block are used for controlling the conveying position of a new furnace shell, a third electric chain block is combined for positioning the furnace shell, furnace shell replacement operation is accurate, operation is easy, safety is high, a furnace shell conveying platform does not need to be built or other parts of a furnace body do not need to be disassembled, the construction efficiency is remarkably improved compared with the prior art, the construction progress is accelerated, and the construction cost is saved.
