Provided is a vehicle failure-factor specifying apparatus that effectively identifies a failure-induced traveling state when a predetermined failure occurs in a vehicle. According to the present invention, since the presence or absence of the special traveling state is determined on the basis of whether or not the frequency distribution in which the traveling state before failure occurs deviates from the frequency distribution in which the traveling state during normal operation occurs, on the basis of the comparison between the special traveling state in the other vehicle (200) and the special traveling state in the vehicle (10), a pre-failure travel state in the vehicle (10) is appropriately identified as a failure-induced travel state. Therefore, when a predetermined failure occurs in the vehicle (10), the failure-induced traveling state can be effectively identified.

    本发明提供一种在车辆发生规定的故障时有效地认定故障诱发行驶状态的车辆用故障原因认定装置。根据本发明,由于基于故障前行驶状态出现的频度分布相对于正常时行驶状态出现的频度分布是否偏离,判断特殊行驶状态的有无,因此,能够基于其它车辆(200)中的特殊行驶状态与车辆(10)中的特殊行驶状态的比较,恰当地认定车辆(10)中的故障前行驶状态为故障诱发行驶状态。因而,在车辆(10)发生规定的故障时,能够有效地认定故障诱发行驶状态。
