The invention discloses an electric vehicle braking system which comprises a power battery, a rear drive motor, a rear drive speed reducer, a vehicle-mounted charger, a heating system, a refrigerating system, a direct current converter, a front drive speed reducer, a front drive motor, a vehicle control unit and a motor controller. The power battery, the rear-drive motor, the vehicle-mounted charger, the heating system, the refrigerating system, the direct-current converter and the front-drive motor are connected through a direct-current bus, the front-drive motor is connected with the front-drive speed reducer, the rear-drive motor is connected with the rear-drive speed reducer, and the motor controller is connected with the front-drive motor and the rear-drive motor. The motor controller is connected with the whole vehicle controller, driving comfort can be improved, pedal force control is safer, no matter what level the SOC of a battery is, the driving motor can provide reverse braking force, and when the electric vehicle runs down a long slope or brakes emergently, electric appliances of the vehicle body can be fully turned on, so that energy is consumed rapidly, and safety is guaranteed.
