The invention discloses a joist barrow for reconstruction and extension construction of an existing elevated operation subway station. The joist barrow comprises horizontal cross beams, stand columns, walking mechanisms and a protective shed; the stand columns are arranged at two ends of the cross beams; the top ends of the stand columns are connected with the ends of the cross beams; the walking mechanisms are arranged at the bottom ends of the stand columns; the protective shed is arranged on the cross beams; and a plurality of the cross beams, the stand columns and the walking mechanism jointly form a door type frame joist barrow body with a preset length, and the protective shed is used for carrying out top protection on the door type frame joist barrow body. The joist barrow can be used for construction under the condition that normal operation of a subway is guaranteed, and has the advantages that the construction difficulty is small, the construction period is shortened, and the manufacturing cost is saved.
