The invention discloses an unmanned aerial vehicle photovoltaic inspection positioning system and method. The system comprises an unmanned aerial vehicle, a controller and a server; the unmanned aerial vehicle carries a camera; the controller comprises a route planning unit and an image recording unit; the route planning unit is used for setting a take-off point and a flight route of the unmannedaerial vehicle and correcting an actual route of the unmanned aerial vehicle, so that the unmanned aerial vehicle performs shooting operation based on the corrected route; the image recording unit records a real-time picture in the shooting operation process of the unmanned aerial vehicle and transmits shooting operation data to the server; and the server is used for integrating the photos of thereal-time picture, identifying and screening the photos by utilizing an infrared defect identification algorithm, and generating an inspection result according to identification and screening results.The system and method have the advantages of low cost, easiness in obtaining, easiness in operation, convenience in carrying, high flexibility and the like.
