The invention discloses an elevator man-machine interaction system which comprises an elevator main control board, an instruction registration module, an elevator photoelectric door protection module,an encryption protocol communication board and an outside-hall man-machine interaction device. The outside-hall man-machine interaction device comprises an outside-hall man-machine interaction devicemain control board, a touch display screen, a camera module, an infrared recognition module, an RJ45 communication interface and a serial communication interface, wherein the touch display screen, the camera module, the infrared recognition module, the RJ45 communication interface and the serial communication interface are connected with one another. The outside-hall man-machine interaction device is connected with a PC end through the RJ45 communication interface. And the outside-hall man-machine interaction device main control board is connected with the encryption protocol communication board through the serial communication interface. The method comprises face recognition detection. By integrating the functions of face or two-dimensional code image recognition and verification, password input verification, infrared gesture recognition and touch control into the outside-hall man-machine interaction device and the PC end, card-free authorization management is realized, so that safety and convenience are both considered, the intelligent degree is relatively high, and the user experience and comfort are improved.
