The present disclosure relates to a method (600) performed by a control unit (100) adapted to be included in a vehicle (120) for notifying a geographically adjacent vehicle (128, 129) of door information, the method comprising receiving (610) feature data indicative of a feature of the vehicle (120), determining (620) the door information using the feature data, and sending door information notifications (630) to the plurality of vehicles (128, 129) by sending a wireless signal comprising door information.
