The brake system comprises braking devices in one-to-one correspondence with wheels and a control device for controlling the braking devices, the control device comprises a detection part, a reset timing part and a processing part, the detection part is coupled to the control device, the reset timing part is coupled to the detection part, and the processing part is coupled to the timing part and the braking devices at the same time. When the time corresponding to a timing signal is larger than preset time, the processingpart outputs the processing signal into the braking device, the braking device receives the processing signal to brake the internal combustion locomotive, and the effects that the diesel locomotive can be stopped in time, and the accident rate is reduced are achieved.
