The invention discloses an empennage folding mechanism of folding-wing unmanned aerial vehicle. The empennage folding mechanism comprises a fixed part, a torsional spring, a fixed part gland and a rotary movable part, the rotary movable part is connected into the fixed part in a sleeved mode, the torsional spring is connected into the rotary movable part in a sleeved mode, one end of the torsionalspring is fixedly connected with the middle of the fixed part, and one end of the rotary movable part is connected with the middle part of the fixed part gland in a penetrating manner. The folding mechanism is simple in structure, convenient to install, small in occupied space, capable of being used when the empennage is rotated and folded along a certain rotating shaft of any plane of the fuselage and wider in application range, in the using process, the empennage can be rapidly unfolded under the torsion effect of the torsion spring, the unfolding efficiency of the empennage is effectivelyimproved, and extra electric losses are avoided.
