The invention relates to the technical field of construction equipment, and discloses a tower crane stall self-locking mechanism utilizing an electromagnetic pole changing principle. A self-locking disc is included, a turntable is movably connected to the interior of the self-locking disc, self-locking blocks are arranged in the turntable, an electromagnetic coil is fixedly connected to the frontsurface of the turntable, a trigger mechanism is arranged on the front surface of the turntable, and limiting mechanisms are arranged in the turntable. Each trigger mechanism comprises a device box internally movably connected with a reset spring. According to the tower crane stall self-locking mechanism utilizing the electromagnetic pole changing principle, through cooperative use of the self-locking disc and self-locking blocks, when the rotating speed of a tower crane is suddenly increased or stalled due to the operation problem of workers or the failure of mechanical equipment, self-locking is automatically completed, economic losses caused by falling due to the fact that hoisted materials are out of balance are avoided, meanwhile, great safety accidents caused by the fact that the tower crane is out of balance can be avoided, safety of the equipment in the using process is guaranteed, and normal operation of the equipment is guaranteed.
