The invention discloses an automatic charging method and device for a four-way shuttle vehicle. The automatic charging method comprises the steps of acquiring the positions of charging ports around the four-way shuttle vehicle; distributing available charging ports from all the charging ports; dispatching the four-way shuttle vehicle to move to the available charging port position; and identifyingthe available charging port and then aligning to the available charging port for charging. By automatically distributing the available charging port, problems that in the prior art, the charging positions are insufficient and the charging ports cannot be moved or are complex to move during charging when more four-way shuttle vehicles cooperatively work can be effectively solved, the charging flexibility of the four-way shuttle vehicle can be effectively improved, and the use efficiency of the charging ports is greatly increased; and therefore, the cost can be effectively reduced.

    本发明公开了一种四向穿梭车自动充电方法及装置,包括:获取四向穿梭车周围的充电口位置;从所有充电口中分配可用充电口;调度四向穿梭车移动至可用充电口位置;识别可用充电口后对准可用充电口进行充电。本发明通过自动分配可用充电口,这样能有效解决现有技术中解决较多四向穿梭车协同作业时在充电时充电位置不足和充电口不可移动或者移动繁琐的问题,能有效提高四向穿梭车充电的灵活性,及大大提高了充电口的使用效率,从而能有效降低成本。
