A gantry crane track device comprises a track and a gantry crane, wherein the gantry crane is connected above the track in a rolling manner; the gantry crane comprises a rigid leg, a flexible leg, a girder, an upper running trolley, a lower running trolley and cart walking structures; the cart walking structures are connected above the track in a rolling manner; the rigid leg is fixedly connected above one cart walking structure; the flexible leg is fixedly connected above the other cart walking structure; the two ends of the girderare fixedly connected with the upper ends of the rigid leg and the flexible leg respectively; the upper running trolley and the lower running trolley are connected with the girder in a sliding mannerrespectively; the rigid leg is of a box body structure formed by combining steel plates. According to the gantry crane track setting method, the total segmented tonnage is correspondingly increased; adock operation platform is arranged, and a three-dimensional operation plane is arranged; the operation burden of staff is reduced, the operation environment is improved, and the shipbuilding progress is accelerated; and the block is large-sized, the dock hoisting quantity is reduced, the dock shipbuilding speed is increased, and the dock period is shortened.
