The invention discloses equipment for controlling unmanned aerial vehicles to prune plants. The equipment comprises a memory, a processor and a communication interface; and the processor is used for calling executable program codes stored in the memory to execute the following steps of controlling a scanning unmanned aerial vehicle to scan to obtain a 3D model of the plants, comparing the 3D modelwith a library model stored in a database, planning a pruning route of the plants according to a difference value area, exceeding the library model, of the 3D model, generating pruning route information, wherein the pruning route information comprises coarse pruning route information and fine pruning route information, controlling the communication interface to transmit the coarse pruning route information and the fine pruning route information to the coarse pruning unmanned aerial vehicle and the fine pruning unmanned aerial vehicle respectively, controlling the coarse pruning unmanned aerial vehicle to prune the plants for the first time, and then controlling the fine pruning unmanned aerial vehicle to prune the plants for the second time. The equipment has the beneficial effects that the danger of manual high-altitude pruning is avoided, the pruning precision is improved, and the pruning efficiency is improved.
