The embodiment of the invention discloses a vehicle speed measurement method and device based on video feature recognition, relates to the field of intelligent transportation, and can simply and conveniently measure the vehicle speed. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring first position information of a certain feature on a vehicle in a first frame image and second position information of the feature in a second frame image, wherein the first position information and the second position information at least comprise position coordinates and image resolution widths of a certain feature in the Y direction of a two-frame image coordinate system; determining a first object distance and a second object distance according to the physical width and the image resolution width of a certain feature; determining a first included angle and a second included angle between the optical axis of a camera and a certain feature in the two frames of images according to camera parameters andthe position coordinates in the Y direction of the image coordinate system; obtaining actual physical displacement of a certain feature based on the first object distance, the second object distance,the first included angle and the second included angle; and determining the vehicle speed according to the actual physical displacement and the shooting time interval of the two frames of images.
本发明的实施例公开一种基于视频特征识别的车辆测速方法及装置,涉及智能交通领域,能够较为简便地测量车速。包括:获取车辆上某一特征在第一帧图像中的第一位置信息及其在第二帧图像中的第二位置信息;第一位置信息及第二位置信息至少包括某一特征在两帧图像坐标系Y方向上的位置坐标及图像分辨率宽度;根据某一特征的物理宽度及图像分辨率宽度确定第一物距及第二物距;根据相机参数及在图像坐标系Y方向上的位置坐标确定出相机光轴分别与两帧图像中的某一特征之间的第一夹角及第二夹角;基于第一物距、第二物距、第一夹角及第二夹角得到某一特征的实际物理位移;根据实际物理位移、及两帧图像拍摄时间间隔确定车辆车速。
