A discharge circuit equipped with a plurality of load circuits which are electrically connected in parallel to a plurality of power storage units, wherein: each of the plurality of load circuits has aresistor and a switch which are electrically connected in series between both ends of each of the plurality of power storage units, and also has a control terminal for controlling the switch according to the electric potential; the plurality of load circuits are electrically connected in series to one another between positive and negative electrodes; and the control terminal of the n+1th load circuit from a reference point side is electrically connected to the reference point-side terminal of the nth power storage unit from the reference point side via the switch of the nth load circuit fromthe reference point side.
