The invention relates to a wall-climbing robot and a control method thereof, and relates to the field of robots. The wall-climbing robot comprises a fan installed in the center of a rack, wherein thefan is used for generating negative pressure to enable the wall-climbing robot to be sucked to a moving plane; a pressure detection device installed in a negative pressure cavity of the wall-climbingrobot; a control system respectively connected with the fan and the pressure detection device. The pressure detection device is used for detecting a pressure value in the negative pressure cavity; thecontrol system is used for comparing the pressure value detected by the pressure detection device with the pressure threshold value of the negative pressure cavity and controlling operation of the fan according to the comparison result. The pressure value, detected by the pressure detection device, in the negative pressure cavity is compared with the negative pressure cavity pressure threshold value, and operation of the fan is controlled according to the comparison result; when the moving plane of the wall-climbing robot is changed, the rotating speed of the fan can be adjusted in time, andthe adaptability of the wall-climbing robot to different types of moving planes is improved.

    本发明涉及一种爬壁机器人及其控制方法,涉及机器人领域。该爬壁机器人包括:风机安装于机架的中央,风机用于产生负压,使爬壁机器人吸附在移动平面上;压力检测装置安装于爬壁机器人的负压腔体内;控制系统分别与风机和压力检测装置连接;压力检测装置用于检测负压腔体内的压力值;控制系统用于将压力检测装置检测的压力值与负压腔压力阈值进行比较,并根据比较结果控制风机的运转。本发明将压力检测装置检测的负压腔体内的压力值与负压腔压力阈值进行比较,根据比较结果控制风机的运转,当爬壁机器人的移动平面发生改变时,可以及时调整风机转速,提高了爬壁机器人对不同类型移动平面的适应能力。
