The invention discloses a novel automobile front windshield defrosting device. The device comprises a power generation system arranged in an automobile engine cabin; a monitoring unit which is arranged on the automobile front windshield, an execution system which is arranged on the automobile front windshield, and a control system which is arranged in an automobile center console and is electrically connected with the power generation system, the monitoring unit and the execution system. Power is generated through wind power flowing through the automobile, and then the front windshield is defrosted, so that the power of an engine is saved, and the climbing acceleration capacity of the automobile is improved. The invention further provides a control method of the novel automobile front windshield defrosting device.
