The invention provides a distance measurement method and device, electronic equipment and a storage medium. Through the distance measurement method, when electronic equipment collects two vehicles located on the same lane through an image collection device, and the vehicle distance between the two vehicles is determined according to the first distance between the first reference point of one of the two vehicles and the lens plane of the image collection device, the second distance between the second reference point of the other vehicle and the lens plane, and the included angle between the shooting direction of the image collection device and the lane. Due to the fact that the image collection device can be erected at the hidden position of one side of the lane through the distance measurement method, a driver cannot find the image collection device easily, so that the driver can be prevented from deliberately decelerating after observing the image collection device so as to improve the monitoring effect on the vehicle safety distance.

    本申请实提供一种距离测量方法、装置、电子设备及存储介质。通过上述距离测量方法,电子设备通过图像采集装置采集到位于同一车道的两车辆时,根据两车辆中其中一辆的第一参考点与图像采集装置透镜平面的第一距离,另外一辆的第二参考点在透镜平面的第二距离以及图像采集装置拍摄方向与车道之间的夹角,确定两车辆之间的车距。由于通过该距离测量方法可以将图像采集装置架设在车道一侧隐蔽位置,使得驾驶员难以发现,可以避免驾驶员在观察到图像采集装置后的刻意减速行为,进而提高对车辆安全距离的监督效果。
