The invention discloses an emergency tramcar stopping device for a mining tunnel. A rock wall is included. A tunnel space is formed in the rock wall; the lower side of the rock wall is fixedly connected with a lower side rock; a rail is fixedly connected to the inner wall of the lower side of the tunnel space; a tramcar is connected to the rail in a sliding manner; two intercepting rods are fixedly connected to the two sides of a tramcar; and through a deformation degree of a supporting structure, an intercepting device is triggered, energy distribution is designed for the intercepting device,most kinetic energy of the tramcar is consumed in the form of heat energy, a part of kinetic energy is recycled through a spring to serve as return ejection potential energy, the tramcar can return at a higher speed, and therefore the tramcar leaves a dangerous area.
