The invention discloses a rotor aircraft capable of vertically taking off and landing. The rotor aircraft comprises a fuselage, wings, a propeller, rotors, an empennage and an undercarriage, wherein the front part of the fuselage is a closed cockpit; a power device, a luggage compartment, a transmission system, a control system and the like are arranged in the fuselage; the tail of the fuselage isprovided with a tail beam; the empennage is installed at the tail end of the tail beam; the wings are located on the left side and the right side of the middle of the fuselage and provide an installation point for the propeller and can also provide considerable lift force when the aircraft flies horizontally; one side of each wing is provided with an aileron and a flap, the ailerons provide rolling torque, and the flaps provide lift force. The rotor aircraft combines the advantages of a helicopter, a fixed-wing aircraft and a gyrocopter, has the vertical take-off and landing and ultralow-altitude flight capacity of the helicopter, also has the high-speed flight capacity of the fixed-wing aircraft, and further has the characteristics of high safety and low energy consumption of the gyrocopter, thereby meeting wider use requirements, and being beneficial to popularization and application.
