The invention relates to a rail transit energy recovery system, which is used for passively recovering train operation energy effectively through a rail and supplying power to railway lighting, monitoring and other equipment along a railway so as to save energy. The system comprises a rail structure and a train running on the rail structure, wherein a first magnet set is fixedly installed at the bottom of a train body, second magnet sets are arranged in the rail structure at intervals in the longitudinal direction of the line, and the magnetic poles of the opposite faces of the first magnet set and the second magnet set are opposite to form magnetic induction lines; a conductor component is arranged between the first magnet set and the second magnet set, and the two ends of the conductor component are connected with energy storage equipment through wires to form a closed loop; and the length directions of the first magnet set and the second magnet set and the axis of the conductor component are parallel to the width direction of the rail structure.
