The invention relates to the field of elevators, in particular to a closed corridor elevator. The closed corridor elevator comprises a shell, a rail frame arranged in the shell, a rail car traction device used for driving the rail frame to move in the shell and a pedal mechanism arranged on the rail frame. The pedal mechanism comprises pedals hinged to the rail frame through rotating shafts and located on the outer side of the shell and elastic reset components used for driving the pedals to be gathered along the rotating shafts. The rotating shafts are arranged obliquely, and the pedals are obliquely turned over along the rotating shafts. When the pedals are in a turning-out state, the bearing faces of the pedals are arranged horizontally. When the pedals are in a gathered state, the bearing faces of the pedals are attached to the outer side face of the shell, and the pedals are provided with two sides to be parallel with the moving direction of the pedals along with the rail frame. By means of the corridor elevator, the pedal turnover manner is optimized, and therefore the structure of the corridor elevator is simplified, the cost is reduced, stability is improved, and the corridor elevator is not prone to being damaged.
