The embodiment of the invention provides a blind area visualization system and method of a large vehicle. The system comprises a video acquisition device, a first controller, a second controller, a vehicle tail display screen and an in-vehicle display screen. The first controller receives four paths of video images and sends at least one path of video images to the in-vehicle display screen, and the in-vehicle display screen displays the at least one path of video images sent by the first controller in a split-screen mode or a single-screen mode. And a front-end camera is connected with the vehicle tail display screen through the second controller. In the invention, multiple cameras are adopted to acquire video images around the vehicle body in real time, and split-screen or single-screendisplay is carried out through the in-vehicle display screen so that a real-time environment and road conditions around the vehicle can be restored. Moreover, according to the embodiment of the invention, a front video image of the vehicle is acquired through the front-end camera of the large vehicle, and the front video image is sent to the vehicle tail display screen to be played so that the road condition in front of the large vehicle can be seen when the rear vehicle runs, a reference is provided for lane changing or overtaking, and traffic accidents are reduced.
