The embodiment of the invention discloses a bomb dropping mechanism and an unmanned aerial vehicle. The bomb dropping mechanism comprises a bomb cabin, a steering engine, a steering engine mounting frame, a bomb cabin cover, a rocker arm, an elastic connecting assembly and a bomb body. The bomb cabin comprises a shell and a storage space defined by the shell. The bomb body is located in the storage space; the steering engine is connected with the missile bay through a steering engine mounting frame; the bomb cabin cover is movably connected with the bomb cabin through an elastic connecting assembly; the elastic connecting assembly and the steering engine mounting frame are both arranged at the end part of the same side of the bomb cabin; the rocker arm is connected with the steering engine; after a bomb dropping signal is received, the steering engine drives the rocker arm to be separated from the bomb cabin cover; after a reset signal is received, the steering engine drives the rockerarm to be clamped with the bomb cabin cover; lightening holes of a through structure are formed in the surface of the shell. Through the scheme of the embodiment of the invention, the problem of complex structure of an existing bomb throwing mechanism is at least partially solved, and the purpose of simple structure and installation form is achieved.
