The invention relates to a hoisting system of a single-drum double-hoisting-point ladle crane, and belongs to the field of weight equipment. The hoisting system is characterized in that a duplex drumis unitized for driving two pulley blocks to achieve the lifting motion of a steel ladle or a sling at the same time. The two pulley blocks of the hoisting system share one driving system, synchronouslifting of the two pulley blocks can be achieved, and the problem that due to the fact that motors of two driving systems are not synchronous, the two pulley blocks are not synchronous is avoided. One ends of steel wire ropes are fixed to the drum, the other ends of the steel wire ropes are wound around the fixed pulley block and the movable pulley block to one side of a balancing lever to be connected, balanced stress of the two steel wire ropes can be achieved through the balancing lever, and safety and reliability are achieved. When one of the two pulley systems breaks down, the other canstill continue to work for a short time, hosting work of this time is completed at the speed half of the lifting speed, and at this moment, a supporting spring of the balancing lever can relieve the impact of breakage of the steel wire ropes. According to the hoisting system, the manufacturing cost can be reduced under the condition of not frequently using the hoisting function of the ladle crane.
