The invention relates to the technical field of vehicle side collision, in particular to a vehicle structure for improving the side collision safety performance of a new energy electric vehicle. The vehicle structure comprises a battery pack shell and a seat cross beam assembly, threshold beam assemblies are arranged at the two sides of the battery pack shell; the threshold beam assembly comprisesa threshold inner plate and a threshold outer plate. The seat cross beam assembly comprises a seat front cross beam and a seat rear cross beam. The two sides of the seat front cross beam and the twosides of the seat rear cross beam are connected to the threshold inner plate through lap joint plates, supporting cross beams are arranged at the positions, corresponding to the seat front cross beamand the seat rear cross beam, of the battery pack shell respectively, and supporting plates used for being connected with the seat front cross beam and the seat rear cross beam are arranged on the supporting cross beams. According to the invention, the arrangement space of the battery pack can be increased, the endurance mileage of the new energy automobile can be effectively improved, and a battery pack module is prevented from being extruded in a side collision accident.
