The embodiment of the invention provides a carrier wheel structure of an excavator and the excavator, and relates to the field of excavators. The problem that the using performance of an existing carrier wheel is insufficient is solved. The carrier wheel structure comprises a wheel shaft, a wheel body and a bearing assembly. Two ends of the wheel shaft are mounted on a crawler frame of the excavator; the bearing assembly sleeves the wheel shaft, and the wheel body sleeves the bearing assembly, so that the wheel body can rotate relative to the wheel shaft. The excavator comprises the excavatorcarrier wheel structure. The bearing assembly is sleeved between the wheel body and the wheel shaft, so that the friction resistance is reduced, the wheel body rotates more flexibly relative to the wheel shaft, the friction between the carrier roller and the crawler belt is reduced, and the service life of the carrier roller is prolonged; meanwhile, the two ends of the wheel shaft are installed onthe crawler frame, the two ends of the carrier wheel are supported on the crawler frame, the stress condition of the carrier wheel can be improved when the excavator turns, performance is improved, and therefore the service life of the carrier wheel is further prolonged.
