The invention discloses an automobile electromagnet-type service brake. The automobile electromagnet-type service brake comprises a brake stator, a brake rotor, a stator electromagnet, a rotor electromagnet, an automobile body connecting column, a wheel connecting column, a wheel, a tire, and a half shaft at the power output end of a reducer. The automobile electromagnet-type service brake is characterized in that the brake stator is connected to the automobile body through the automobile body connecting column, the stator electromagnet is detachably connected with the brake stator, the brakerotor is fixedly connected with the half shaft, and the rotor electromagnet is detachably connected with the brake rotor. A gap is arranged between the stator electromagnet and the rotor electromagnet, the wheel is connected with the brake rotor through the wheel connecting column, and the tire is installed on a wheel by air pressure. The brake relies on the attraction between different magnetic poles of the electromagnet to decelerate and brake. The braking efficiency is better and the safety is better. Moreover, a brake pedal is a power switch of the electromagnet. A power assisting device is not required to be installed, and the lightweight of an automobile is facilitated.
