The invention provides a tower crane hook object anti-hanging protection system and a control method, and belongs to the technical field of tower cranes. The tower crane hook object anti-hanging protection system and the control method aim to solve the problem of accidents due to the fact that a hook hangs a weight by mistake when an existing tower crane works, and comprises an industrial controlmain board, a high-definition camera and a converter control board; a GPS module and an air pressure sensor are arranged on a hook of the tower crane; the converter control board, the GPS module, theair pressure sensor and the high-definition camera are electrically connected with the industrial control main board separately; and the intelligent detection and control of the tower crane is realized, during operation, when the hook hangs the weight by mistake, the system can perform intelligent judgment and stop the uplink and rotating action of the tower crane in time, and the working danger of staff is reduced.
