The invention discloses a furniture removal crane installed through a window and a method. The crane comprises a frame assembly and an electric hoist; the rack assembly comprises a left support frame,a right support frame, an electric hoist hanging rod and left and right support frame stop rods; the left support frame and the right support frame are identical in structure, respectively cling to aleft frame and a right frame of the window, are polygonal frameworks composed of a plurality of steel pipes, and are divided into window area supporting and fixing parts and window outer lifting parts; movable support seats are arranged on bottom transverse pipes of the left support frame and the right support frame; the window area supporting and fixing parts of the left support frame and the right support frame are connected through the stop rods; the window outer lifting parts of the left support frame and the right support frame are connected through the electric hoist hanging rod; and the electric hoist hanging rod is used for hanging the electric hoist.
