The invention discloses an unmanned carrying vehicle and a lifting mechanism. The lifting mechanism comprises a driving chain wheel, a driven chain wheel, a drive mechanism, a ball screw assembly, a bottom plate and a supporting plate. The upper end of the ball screw assembly is connected with the driven chain wheel and fixed to the supporting plate, and the lower end of the ball screw assembly isfixedly connected with the bottom plate. The drive mechanism is connected with the driving chain wheel and used for driving the chain wheel to rotate. The driving chain wheel is connected with the driven chain wheel through a chain. The lifting mechanism is free of the phenomena of elastic sliding and slipping, and is accurate in average transmission ratio, reliable in work, high in efficiency, high in transfer power and high in overload capacity, the transmission size under the same working condition is small, needed tensioning force is small, the pressure acting on a shaft is low, and the lifting mechanism can work in the high-temperature environment, the humid environment, the dusty environment, the polluted environment and other harsh environments.
