The invention discloses an unmanned carrier which comprises a machine body and two fork legs for bearing a goods shelf, and is characterized by further comprising a shell which is arranged on the fork legs in a lifting manner and is provided with a through hole; the friction belt assembly is arranged on the fork leg and extends out of the through opening to replace a supporting goods shelf after the shell descends; and the driving assembly is used for driving the friction belt assembly to roll so as to drive the goods shelf to transversely move. By arranging the friction belt assembly, when the shell drives the goods shelf to descend to unload goods at a designated position, the friction belt assembly can stretch out of the through opening to drive the shell to support the goods shelf, then the driving assembly drives the friction belt assembly to roll, and the friction belt assembly drives the goods shelf to transversely move through friction force generated between the upper surface of the friction belt assembly and the goods shelf; and the newly placed goods shelf and goods are close to the other column of adjacent goods shelf and goods, so that the gap between the two columns of goods is eliminated, and the storage space is fully utilized.
