The invention relates to a steel wire rope swing angle detection device which comprises a supporting frame, swing pieces, a plurality of bottom rails, a plurality of side rails, a plurality of top rails and displacement sensors. The bottom rails, the side rails and the top rails are arranged on the supporting frame, the displacement sensors are used for detecting displacement detection plates, theswing pieces are provided with the displacement detection plates and sliding grooves allowing a steel wire rope to move freely, and the swing pieces comprise the first swing piece and the second swing piece which are perpendicular to each other. The steel wire rope can penetrate through the sliding grooves in the first swing piece and the second swing piece at the same time, and the lower surfaces, the two ends in the length direction and the upper surfaces of the two swing pieces make sliding or rolling contact with the bottom rails, the side rails and the top rails at the corresponding positions correspondingly. According to the steel wire rope swing angle detection device, the displacement monitors are not in direct contact with the displacement monitoring plates such as the first displacement detection plate and the second displacement detection plate, the swing pieces move along the rails including the bottom rails and the like, any part is not required to deform, the test precision is higher, and the durability is higher.
