The invention discloses a mountain bike wheel for absorbing shock. The wheel comprises a hub (2), a rim (1) and a tread (6) and is characterized in that an axle hole (3) is formed in the center of the hub (2), shock-absorbing springs (7) are arranged in the rim (1), one end of each shock-absorbing spring (7) is fixed to the hub (2), and the other end of each shock-absorbing spring (7) is fixed to the rim (1) through a fixing device (8). On the same horizontal line, two oval shock-absorbing rings (4) are arranged with a spring end point fixed on the rim (1) as an axial end point and perpendicularly arranged, a steel plate (5) which is concave inside and convex outside is arranged between the adjacent fixing devices (8), and inverted-Y-shaped convex lines are arranged outside the tread (6). Due to the arrangement of a dual-shocking-absorbing device, the strength of a tire can be improved to the maximum extent while certain shock absorbing performance is kept, the tire will not deform when pressed for a long time, performance is stable, and the adaptive capacity to the environment is high.
